EWA BELT Project (GA No. 862848) at XXI Infopoverty World Conference
During the XXI Infopoverty World Conference "How to build a fairer and more inclusive Digital Society?", updates, activities and witnesses from the fields of the EWA-BELT Project (GA No. 862848) were presented by experts. The third session with the title "Digital way to prosperity for rural communities" focused on bottom-up experiences, shared in the virtual world, entailing a strong effect able to influence the behaviour of communities. A series of best practices in action were presented in the fields of food security, telemedicine, e-learning, and e-governance, able to outline the approaches and values of new generations.

The XXI Infopoverty World Conference "How to build a fairer and more inclusive Digital Society?" was held on December 3, 2021, online, live-streamed by UN Webcast and broadcasted worldwide. The discussion debated on the importance of common action to better address today's pressing challenges and ensure inclusive and sustainable growth for future generations. The participants concretely addressed all the emergencies and tensions that the transition presents by its nature while proposing a convergence of different disciplines and emphasising the ability of the Digital Society to acquire a more accurate view on the current and future situations.
