Scientific Advisory Board
The Scientific Advisory Board (SAB), set up during the Kick-Off Meeting, is composed of external experts not directly involved in the project with a very good depth and breadth of expertise. The SAB consists of at least 3 members identified at the beginning of the project within the international scientific and African socio-economic communities. The main function of this body is to advise on technical and scientific issues and constraints and provide guidance regarding future work. They will recommend local needs, possible dissemination routes, and formats for research outputs and highlight scientific opportunities to the project team. Participation will include informal telephone and email communication with work package leaders, attendance at occasional meetings, and participation in the main meetings of EWA-BELT. The SAB provides the Coordinator with periodic internal reports advising on the state-of-the-art of the project activities.
